Identify the actual prescription and pharmacy
A telehealth brand may arrange access to a separate medical practice and pharmacy. Ask who evaluates you and which pharmacy would prepare and dispense the prescription.
Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness and quality before marketing in the same way it reviews approved drugs. A statement that a pharmacy is licensed does not change the approval status of its products.
Ask about formulation-specific evidence
FDA has warned compounders about ingredients unsuitable for sterile NAD products and reported adverse events associated with injectable NAD products. That makes sourcing and sterile preparation substantive questions, not just a line in a brand story.
Discuss the risks, evidence and alternatives with the clinician. A general reference to NAD biology is not evidence that a particular compounded formulation will produce a promised result.
Keep the practical contacts
Request the written instructions and pharmacy contact details for the exact product supplied. Storage and handling instructions should come from that source.
Our provider reviews describe public offerings and terms. They do not certify a pharmacy or replace the evaluation needed for an individual prescription.
